At The Blackburn Legacy Ranch, we appreciate the quality and proven performance of the founding bloodlines that were used to define the earliest AQHA horses.  Bloodlines that were forged by Blackburn, Poco Bueno and King, Pretty Buck and Hollywood Gold.  Still others like Peppy, Macanudo and Wimpy.  These bloodlines offering sound and durable bodies and minds that can serve for years. Hoping to do our part in preserving these foundation lines and focusing on the development of Blackburn Ironman, himself being 100% foundation, along with other quality mares, we strive to offer high percentage foundation offspring by NFQHA standards.  Building and improving each year with emphasis on maintaining high percentage foundation stock with correct conformation and proven disposition.  Horses that mom and dad can ride and show on and then put their kids on to do the same. We believe this is the type of horse the founding breeders of the American Quarter Horse had in mind. Thank you.
